ABSA deceased estate horrible, non-existent service. Warning!

Warning, Zero assistance when deceased estates are to be noted. I wish I could put zero stars as I have not been assisted at all. Absa deceased estate dept have seriously pushed the bar on bad service. Unreachable, do not acknowledge receipt of any correspondence and cannot assist in branch. I have been having issues since February 2019 when I first notified ABSA of my father being involved in an incident - he is an ABSA client. Nothing was done regarding my please to assist with his property. My father passed away 17 September 2019 - to date I have been trying to get hold of ABSA estate handlers. Absa hold my father's will and are the noted executors thus is it too much to expect some assistance for their own client who trusted they would handle upon his death? I am of the opinion the bad reviews are the truth and am highly concerned about the service my late father can expect of his bank handling his affairs and estate now. When I call in I am transferred to the alleged relevant dept and the line is cut - 3 times already. So how does one speak to a consultant I have been into the branch twice. The first time, understandably, I was advised nothing could be done without death certificates etc. The second time when I had the certificates I was advised I cannot be assisted in branch but had to email ***. I have mailed the relevant documents 9, 10, 11 and 14 October but to date have not received response or acknowledgement, no contact or assistance. Ironically I was contacted about my father's outstanding credit card bill and they also requested I email them but also haven't heard back- I guess ABSA will only acknowledge you when you owe them something but clearly don't expect assistance when you most need them. Please try convince me otherwise and offer your assistance, acknowledge you have received the documents I was instructed to send and how long the process will take. I am begging ABSA to please live up to the online promises of "smooth" process and "support" during bereavement.
