ABSA deceased estate and complaints resolution departments

I often deal with estates in my capacity as an attorney and agent of the executor. I am under the impression that Absa is making a habit of delaying the payment of funds held by them on behalf of the deceased. I am able to provide proof that this is the case with many deceased estates. Repeated emails to their complaints resolution email address proves to be fruitless, they just do not react!! I experience this to be extremely poor service and would like to know how Absa and their deceased estate department regard the situation of widows in an estate. Absa owes the public a motivated explanation which goes beyond their usual superficial apologies not being followed up by any action. In the current case the deceased passed away during July 2021. We need transparency from Absa.

Reviewer Update
ABSA's reaction to complaints reported on Hellopeter is a farce. It seems that Basani Hlungwane, Specialist Case Manager's reaction should not be taken seriously. I am of the opinion that this person does not regard the Hellopeter reviews as serious at all. It is clear that Basani Hlungwane and ABSA do not apply their minds to correspondence and totally disregard the legal nominated persons in a deceased estate. The worst of all is that I am under the impression that these delaying tactics (dealing with the funds of heirs, not ABSA's funds) are a general phenomenon with ABSA. This matter alone has been delayed since February 2022. This is really disgusting!
