Absa - Debt Review Paid Up Letters

My husband and I have been under debt review since April 2021. In this time we fortunately have managed to settle most of our Absa accounts well before the initial agreed time. However, when requesting paid up letters , for some of our accounts, we have waited well over 6 months, even after numerous telephonic and written requests. We are passed back and forth within the debt review department. Surely Absa should want to assist their clients as quickly as possible to maintain a relationship and encourage debt being paid off. These delays are meaning it is taking us longer and longer to end our debt review process, and in turn debt rescue continue to pay monthly installments across, from our pocket, to accounts that are paid off with Absa. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of service.
