ABSA CUSTOMER SERVICE

Don't waste your time trying to speed up the process of applying or renewing your passport at this branch of ABSA. I booked an appointment for between 10am and 11am. I arrived just before 10am , it is now past 11am and I am still in the queue with 10 people ahead of me. The processing speed is ridiculous. To make things worse, the same person deals with collections which they choose to do first... Not sure why they accept bookings for around 10 or 12 people in the hour time slot when it takes a minimum of 20 mins to process one person. I can't comment on other ABSA branches that offer this"SERVICE" Maybe it is just a Keywest branch management problem. I've had better service from Home Affairs. It makes me wonder if it is a good idea to bank with an institution so poorly managed
