ABSA Customer Help
Absa may be good at banking but that is all they seem to care about ie. banking and making money. If you want to contact them about anything else, their "Helpline" just not cater for it. I have been to Absa Uitenhage's branch to draw money at the ATM and in the process managed to loose my driver's licence there. I have tried to contact Absa as their bank branches are no longer listed in the phone guide. I just wanted to request them to be on the lookout for in case an honest fellow South African happen to pick it up and hand it in. Sadly, I have not been able to contact them that way - I got stuck listening to telephone manu after manu but none cater for anything remotely of use to me.

09 Nov 2020, 19:35I have no problem with the Uitenhage branch per se. My problem is your (Absa's) Helpline. It led me nowhere. In short, leave the Uitenhage branch out of the matter and provide for a person to person option on your Helpline.
