ABSA Cresta and in general useless

ABSA Cresta is useless. Went in to the branch to close my cheque account on the 8th of may as we were emigrating on the 9th. A certain Kabelo Sedumedi assisted and ensured me all will be done that same day. (I have a cheque, savings and credit with them) all our emigration funds are in the savings and credit. My access account for my app and online banking is the savings account. Hence I stressed ONLY CLOSE THE CHEQUE. Low and behold they close the savings and I get notified on the 12th savings closed and access denied to digital banking. They simply can never get anything right. I hated changing debit dates or accounts in SA because its always a mess, this is just another example of that. Now im in a different country, "oh please visit the branch " Sure I'll just fly back 11 hours. This Kabelo even gave me his email and said if anything is not done, to email him. Its now been 3 days of him ignoring my emails with me, my wife and todler having no access to money or shortly food. Useless. And I've been a client for more than 30 years
