ABSA Credit Department (BAD)

On the 3rd of February 2025 I went to ABSA Alberton with my mother to enquire about a vihecle finance. We were assisted by a lady whose name I'll not mention. She was very friendly and helpful together with all the ABSA Alberton team, their customer service was 100%. However the ABSA credit department made us look stupid! They said my mother did not qualify for a vihecle finance which we clearly explained that we wanted to expand the business. They said she qualified for a loan, that gave us hope and excitment. After all the documents they asked for sending us emails of missing documents, we went all out to get what they asked for... In the end they declined my mother. She gave them proof of all the income. They should have told her from day one that it would not work but the whole week sending us up and down.!!!! Her pensioner fund has been going to ABSA for over 20yrs. This is how she was treated!!!! Shame on ABSA credit department!!!!!!!
