ABSA Credit Cards - Stay well away.

ABSA Credit Cards. I called ABSA 1 month ago to close my credit card account. They advised of the exact amount to pay to close the account however was instructed the payment must happen within 5 days. I paid the amount immediately and called ABSA a week later to ensure everything was in order and I was told the account was successfully close and the only outstanding item was a courtesy call from them to discuss why I closed the account. 1 month later and I have just received a statement from them showing a small balance owing. This is pathetic.
