Absa Credit Card Division

Please assist with this 3 year old query. When I was under debt review and requested paid up letters. The consultant told me that there was a credit on the account and that I will only receive it once the account is closed and paid up letter received. ABSA closed the credit card account and ive heard nothing from them. Can this please be checked out. If there is a credit owed to me then I think that its only fair that it gets paid out. If there is no credit then I need written confirmation that there was no credit due to me when the account was closed.
