ABSA credit card closure department "closed"

Trying desperately to close my credit card. On 8 March I went to the branch to close my credit card just to find out I need to phone a call centre. So I phoned, waited on the line around 20min and then got told to deposit R94 into my zero balance credit card because thats the fee for closing the account. At the end of the call I got told that Credit card closure department was closed on that friday and they would phone me on monday (11/03/2019)... service fees has been taken off the account again in the meantime and no one has phoned me to close the account. I phoned in again to find out what is happening, and got told that "credit card closure" department will phone me. 19/03/2019... still have an open credit card...
