ABSA credit card cancellation

ABSA once again shined in their lies. As my wife has power of attorney she called on my behalf to close our credit card account at ABSA. She was greeted by “Tebogo” who came across as not very helpful and understanding. He also went on to tell her he cannot put another call through as his manager would then be on his back and this will affect his “pd”. I then called and was told that the department I want to speak to is not available for the next 3-5 days. I then requested a reason as I am available now to which I got the same lame generic response. I requested to speak to a manager and was told to hold the line as they will get a manager for me. After holding and listening to bad music for 20 minutes the line was dropped by absa as they saw I am persistint. Now ABSA has already in the past proven to me that they cannot be honest and yet again they have proven my point.
