Absa Credit card

So I paid up my overdue account that was handed over my credit card account a year and a half ago. I was under the impression that the account would be closed. It came under my attention now that the account is still open although I dont have the cards of funds anymore but it shows on my credit record that I have the funds available. I tried to phoned the absa help line, they just said I should call absa legal department. I phoned them and no help was given I was told to email absa attorneys and they will help me with in 5 working day. So after a year and a half they still need another 5 daty wow I am suppose to be able to close the account after all it is still on my name. Worse bank ever please dont use absa. Im sure I wont even get any feed back from them even though I am writing this.
