Absa Credit Card

on 14th Sep Absa call centre agent called me to invite me to apply for a credit limit increase. I accepted it and gave all my personal details, income & expenses and was told that I was approved for an increase of approximately R10k. They said they require 3 months latest bank statements but asked if I would allow them to extract it myself. I agreed to this. 1 week later, I had no increase effected on my account and on the 23rd Sep, I recieved a SMS to say they require my bank statements and advised for me to send it to ********** I did so the following day and 3-4 days later, I called the call centre. The agent confirmed that they received my bank statements, but I knew this as I could received a read receipt on my email less than 5 minutes after I sent my bank statements +5 to the call centre agent and teh limit increase email address. I still have not received the credit limit increase. Each time I asked to speak to a Manager, they were busy or could not be reached. The agent is Rea Malope and I have not received any feedback from her as well after 3 emails to her too. I would not have put up a fuss like this but this money was really needed. Extremely disappointed in poor service, poor systems, poor management processes!!! I wonder will I get a response, I doubt it!!!

I would like to thank ABSA for taking the time to respond to my query. I received a positive response within 2 days, without having to send anymore information. Thank you for rectifying this experience. I trust that this level of service will be strived for consistently.
Well done Claudette Lewis and team
