Absa Credit Card

I had settled my Credit Card with ABSA last year I believe, and wanted to continue using the credit card but they told I cannot because I was on Debt Counseling, I asked them to close the account then and I was told they will on 3days... These past weeks I have been receiving emails from their attorneys that my Credit Card account has been handed over to them and I must pay my Arrears... Again I called them asked them to please close the account as I could not use it again as I stated above and they again promised to do so in 3days... Last week I got another email from their attorneys demanding me to pay and I explained to them again and I never got any response... Please assist...
