absa credit card

Please assist with my absa credit card , i had an outstanding i called in they said my balance was R23000 which i payed the i called again they said it was an error it supposed to R24000 , i made the transfer of R1000 , what worries me all the monies paid the balance on my credit report shows R29000 as if i have never payed anything i received an email asking for my banking details and personal information i never responded as i just don't trust anyone with ****s happening but can this mistake be rectified. its affecting my credit score
