Absa cpu link - unknown credit check

Good day

My transunion report shows a credit check done by Absa on 15 August 2017, but i have not been to Absa asking for any type of credit or anything for that matter - i did not authorise them to do a credit check and i have not been dealing with Absa personally.

Ref is - Absa cpu link absa ********** 540

Please advise how i find out if this is someone else using my identity or what this was for.
