ABSA CONTINUES TO FAIL ME , ALLOWING **** DEBIT ORDERS FROM MY ACCOUNT

I have previously complained on 25/08/2018 about ABSA permitting **** deductions from my savings account ********** 837. Since then, nothing has changed, as these deductions continue. At 06h43 on 1 October 2018, again R98.00 was siphoned from my account, per Ref.RE TRADE/RE405384, same as previous month (August 2018). When I requested a reversal / refund in August, it was done but at a cost of R30.00 as usual. Concerning the deduction on 1 October 2018, I have decided not to visit the ABSA Branch in KWT anymore, as I believe I am made an object of ridicule now. This is no wonder, considering that I visit the Branch monthly, with the same complaint. My request is for ABSA to refund all ******** deductions taken from my account to date. If they cared for us, they would have technological means by now to detect **** debit orders. If I continue not receiving positive response, I will proceed with this to the News Media and Ombudsman- this is not a threat but a definite promise. The following is my previous submission about ABSA. I am resubmitting it almost unchanged because the same problem persists. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a savings account with ABSA Bank, for over thirty years now and am generally satisfied with their service. But, since beginning of year 2018, I have noticed a number of unknown / unauthorised debit orders deducting amounts of R89.00, R98 or R99.00 (the figures keep changing), from my savings account. Each time I have had to go to my nearest branch at King William's Town, to explain this and get the deductions reversed. What frustrates me is that per each reversal I am charged about R30, as if I had authorised the debit order. I am a regular reader of news media and know that this is one of the ****s currently doing rounds and accessing clients' accounts *******ly. Then, my major question is, "What is ABSA doing to protect me, as a client, from this ****"? The impression I was given, when I went to enquire at their Cathcart Street Branch, in King William's Town, was that there is nothing they can do to protect me. My monthly salary is always deposited on this account : "does that mean I will one day lose my whole earnings into this ****"? I have considered changing my account number (not necessarily away from ABSA), but this might cause / risk me to default on legitimate debit orders from creditors I have lawful agreements with. What do I do? As we speak, I am sitting with an SMS from ABSA, sent at 10h08 today (25/05/2018), with Reference ********** ********** , purportedly from RESAHOSTIN, reminding me of an R89 debit order to go off on 25/05/2018. I know of no such debit order and obviously never authorised it. Very frustrated, indeed.
