Absa consultant playing games after buying my apartment and Absa is allowing this
I app**** for a bond with Absa through a friend who is a consultant. She bought my previous apartment. There was some issues and I clearly asked her if she wants to cancel the sale I have no objection to it. She wanted to proceed. I then found a place to buy and I sent her the OTP upon inspection I found mould in the apartment and asked her to immediately cancel the application. She acknowledged it but on the following Monday sent an approval through to me after clearly explaining there’s major issues with the place. I could have lost my deposit but she made an error with the amount hence the deal fell through. I bought another place using the same consultant not thinking she’s definitely trying to hurt me about something. She was not forced to buy my apartment. I app**** for the loan and a further amount to be registered which was granted as per her conversation with me. I asked when will the renovations amount be available and she said immediately upon registration. The place was registered I contacted her. She asked for a breakdown and salary I sent it to her with my expenses. After registration she sent some lady to come do an evaluation. The lady was rude and evaluated the place in 30 seconds. I was then sent an evaluation less than what I actually paid for this apartment. Why would Absa grant any bond for a higher value when if an evaluation needed to be done prior to me buying the place. Now she says it’s worth less than what I actually paid for it. It’s a game it seems she’s playing because she bought my apartment and is either unhappy with it and again I advised her and her attorneys I have no issues cancelling if she needs to. Then I was sent a letter saying my flexi reserve has been canceled as per my request which I didn’t make. Absa consultants play games or this one is because of the personal issue of her buying my previous apartment. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. A manager was meant to call me but no one has. The person sent to my home was in a hurry her phone was dying and she just took a few pictures and said she’s done. Why wasn’t an evacuation done prior to the bond approval. Now this person says it worth less than what I actually paid for it. This is a home absa should have done this evaluation prior to approving this loan and not after registration. The attorneys advised me she’s obviously playing a game by doing all this. When she bought my apartment she went with 3 people to evaluate the apartment. So this should not be the service I receive after 20 years of being a client and definitely not by a consultant who is obviously playing games because she either regrets buying my apartment or is just playing games. Where’s ABSAs management of homeloans to oversee consultants manipulating and lying to clients. Really poor service from a bank I trusted.
