Absa Clearwater taking an extra holiday.

Many of us do not knock off at 3pm like those who enjoy this luxury in banking. Like myself, others only find time to attend to our banking issues over the weekends. The Clearwater branch is one of the very few that are open on Sundays. Yesterday, 21March 2015, being a public holiday had been understandable so many of us chose Sunday to do our banking. Being 1st in the queue, I arrived at 08:45 (the bank supposedly opens at 10. Not long, a line as one has never before seen formed. There had even been an Absa employee tending to customers saying God alone knows what. No notifications had been put up, over a 100 had been vexed. Calls were made to Absa with generic responses as if we are idiots. To save their behind we had been told the bank is open every other Sunday, which is horse as it has been open on Sundays for years. Please enquire, investigate and issue an apology for the absolute disregard shown. Urgent matters are to be attended by Absa clients. Thank you very much. It feels fantastic to be delayed by a week. This is completely unacceptable. Rectify this impertinence immediately.
