ABSA Claims

Good day ABSA Claims,

We found your mail unprofessional, as we have been in contact with you since our daughter fell ill. We have submitted all documentation that we have without any guidelines or support from your side. Your response on this was only: “Case closed. How is our service?”

Yesterday we received the mail below and we found it very strange: At 11:16 AM: ‘’A claims assessor will be in contact with you shortly to confirm any additional requirements necessary to process the claim.’’, and at 11:30 AM: “ The claim is declined and that it will be reviewed in 6 months, and remember we want our monthly payment.??

How can you in 14 min decided about a person’s life? Did you even take note that due to her illness she was paid off, so there is no income? She can’t perform her work nor travel and be on site. The policy also covers retrenchment you did not even look at that matter just declined immediately.

Can I request that you send us the complete policy that she has with ABSA and what it covers so we may take this matter further.

The policy commenced on the 01st June 2018

As per our email dated on the 15/08/2019 regarding our daughter’s setback we hereby inform you and send all documentation received until now regarding her status. We haven’t received any response from you so far, we do understand that DEBTBUSTERS CLIENT SERVICES TEAM - Adadume Damane has sent through a 17.3 FORM that was sent to notify her credit providers.

Ina (Mother) Yolla Van Rensburg

Have a blessed day.

Please contact by mail only will not take calls as I am assisting my daughter since the 8th this month while you don't care sending mails and then wait as I was informed yesterday another six months and then a review. after she now was laid off as well but looks like ABSA Life could not see retrenchment is also covered.

Good day Margaret Maisela I am sorry for any inconvenience cause but I want to correspond only by email. I act on behalf of Yolandie, my daughter. She cannot speak and I am trying to help with this matter. If it is on a call I cannot discuss it with her. Please keep both email addresses in all mails as I am working from both laptops. Please put any questions or documents needed on email and I will answer and complete where possible. After she was diagnosed with TIA by her doctor, I have sent the doctor’s letter to her employee. He terminate her contract immediately. I have attached all documents to previous mails, but if you want me to send it again, I will do. Kind Regards Ina Smit On behalf of my daughter, Yolandie van Rensburg.
