Absa charges me 100% interest.

I have a credit card with Absa My Limit is R11 000. I paid an instalment of R538.68 my charges was +- R212.68 that Leaves me with an amount of R326 credit available. I called the call centre and asked them if I can swipe on My credit card on budget the agent said because there is no budget facility on the credit card the amount Will go from my straight but I will pay the full amount . I went to Jet on Saturday and bought a cell phone of R1 499.00 the lady at the counter gave me a six month option. Therefore I took the phone over six months. Today when I checked my statement I saw Absa is charging me the R1 499.00 once off ( on date
Of my debit) and the R1 499.00 over six months. I was not happy with this and I called the call centre.
I spoke to Martha Modikoe. I asked her why is Absa Charging me so much, she explained that the
Bank will take the money once off cause I did not have funds available. I told her I don't have a problem
With the bank taking the money once off cause that was my understanding. But why is Absa still charging me
The R1 499.00 over six months she said cause I gave the option of paying over 6 months. I told her it does
Not make sense why???
