Absa car finance

I am extremely disappointed with Absa Vehicle Finance and Strauss Daly Attorneys regarding the handling of my vehicle finance matter. Despite my efforts to resolve the arrears and make payment arrangements, I have experienced poor communication, lack of transparency, and what I believe to be unfair treatment. I requested a proper breakdown and settlement figures for the arrears, legal fees, and additional charges, but Strauss Daly Attorneys have refused to provide clear information. I was informed that the arrears had escalated to approximately R52,000, yet I have still not received a proper detailed breakdown explaining these amounts. I also dispute the payment information reported by Absa to my credit profile/ClearScore. Absa reported that I missed payments, despite the fact that payments were made and monthly statements reflected receipts of payment after the repossession process. During the repossession, I made a payment towards the arrears and requested a short extension to settle the outstanding balance, but this was not reasonably considered. Instead, the matter escalated further, including additional storage and legal costs. Customers deserve transparency, fair engagement, and accurate credit reporting.
