ABSA CAN’T OPEN A SIMPLE SAVINGS ACCOUNT

After being lawfully appointed as Executor in a Deceased Estate, on 28 July 2018, I went to the Tygervalley Cape Town Branch for the opening of a Estate Late Bank Acc. After I have spend 4 hours on a Saturday morning in the said branch, I was dumbfounded by the fact that Absa not be able to open a simple savings account. Till date, no feedback was provided from any person in ABSA and the account is still not open after 16 days. ABSA spends millions on their new logo marketing and staff celebration functions but can’t upgrade their system to open a Estate Late account without any effort.
