ABSA Cannot Stop ********** Debit Order

<p>In January 2017 I noticed that R100 was being debited from my husbands account with a reference of Outsurance. My husband never checked his bank statements and queried things he did not agree with. We called Outsurance to confirm the closure of the account and confirmation was received and also the last debit was actually in January 2016, so for a whole year this was being debited and no one noticed. Outsurance eventually declared this a *****ulant transaction.</p> <p>In February 2017 we called ABSA to put a stop on the debit order immediately after sending them a letter from Outsurance confirming that they had not been debiting the account and it looks like an act of *****.</p> <p>After numerous complaints, queries and visits to the bank, the account is still being debited. We spoke to the manager of the ABSA in PTA North Waverly branch and he says he does not know what to do anymore. We received an email from ABSA to say that it has been resolved and the account was not debited end April, only to have the account debited in May… L</p> <p>Currently the account is in arears due to the returned debits charge when they are aware off the fact that this was supposed to be stop by them, he has now changed to FNB and wants nothing to do with ABSA, because clearly you are not protected and on top of it all you are still charged for it!</p> <p>All I want is the debits as off the 15th February 2017 (when the query was raised) reversed, and all the interest/returned debit charges reversed so that I can have nothing to do with ABSA.</p>
