Good day. I want to make mention of the unprofessionalism absa has shown me and i made a mistake even taking out an account with them.

On the 28th decemver 2023 i emailed absa to close my accountd WHILST i had sufficient funds. They responded with an email stating they will call me back and help me with the process.

To date absa has not called me on closing my accounts and over 2 months bank charges has accumalated and i am forced now to pay these bank charges because my account has now reached a negative balance but when i emailed them in december to close the account it was on a positive balance and i wanted to avoid these charges hence i waited for them to call me but they did not.

Now when money is owed to them is when they call me 20 times a day and even threating with law suits BUT when i emailed them to close my accounts they ignored me because they were loosing a customer.

If absa does not rectify this I will then sue absa for there incompetence and lack of client respect.
