Absa by far worst customer service

Absa insurance just sends a text saying they will settle my claim in cash when I want them to repair my home to the original condition as per insurance guidelines. I am unable to call absa as the virtual assistant does not work how does one get to call to speak with an agent.

Reviewer Update
Good Day,I refer to claim *** and your email advising that the claim will be cash settled.I wish to make it absolutely clear that I do not want a cash settlement. My request is for Absa Insurance to arrange for the insured inverter system at my home to be properly assessed, repaired or, where necessary, replaced in accordance with the terms of my insurance policy.I have not agreed to a cash settlement, nor have I accepted any settlement amount.I have also made numerous attempts to contact Absa telephonically to discuss the claim, but I have been unable to get through to a person who can assist me. The automated telephone system has not provided me with a workable way of resolving this matter. Please therefore:Confirm why Absa has decided to cash settle this claim rather than arrange the repair/replacement of the inverter system.Provide me with the written basis and policy provision on which Absa is relying for the decision to cash settle the claim.Arrange for the inverter system to be assessed by an appropriately qualified installer/technician and for the necessary repair or replacement to be carried out.Provide me with the contact details of the person or claims handler who is responsible for this claim and who can deal with me directly.I am willing to cooperate fully with any further assessment or technical inspection required. However, until this matter has been properly discussed and resolved, please record that I do not accept the proposed cash settlement and do not consent to the claim being finalised on that basis.I would appreciate a written response confirming the next steps and explaining why the repair route is not being offered.Kind Regards,Theo Van Tonder***
