We have build for a client in midrand area. he app**** for a Absa Building bond of which he got only part of and had to pay upfront till the bond kicked in. the bank paid us directly for 6 draws and with the 7th draw the client decided without any reason nor any notification to divert our draw to the value of R 2 500 000.00 to his personal account and refused to pay us the contractor. we have contacted the bank but it seems like the client controlled the bank which was very bad and still informed me when I phoned them that what he did was ******* and that he cannot use the money that was meant for his building contractor to complete his house and divert it for his own personal use "to put fires out " was his excuse

is absa bank now as *******????????????????/ please contractors make very sure that if you do any work on an absa building bond that you are covered you have to send all your insurances NHBRC and all your company details just for them to be controlled with there ******* clients. and when you query be send from pillar to post to cover themselves
