Absa broakerage platform does not work, and they can not fix it.
The new stock brokers web site is unusable. I was migrated without choice. It has been weeks and these idiots can not repair what they OBVIOUSLY did not test. How many people has been fired? zero? I can not cancel a trade order, you can not graph, you can not see the status of your orders, I don't get notifications on completion or partial completion, no response via "***", call center overloaded.....
How did this website go live? Who made that call? Why did no one test this site before release? BASIC features are not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But it is only money, my and other traders money.

13 Jul 2021, 07:56Thank you Absa for your prompt assistance. I wish I could also experience this level of communication via the email(equites @ absa) address recommended on the website.
The "pro" platform opens in a new window and was blocked my my add blockers. I can now cancel trades and get all the information which was not available to me, via a computer.
Although this solves most of my problem, I however used to trade by opening the platform on my phone where all the limitations I noted above still applies.
I'll give the email address one more try before asking Peter to assist in opening a channel of communication.
From my perspective (a cell phone trader) my query is still unresolved.
Regards

20 Jul 2021, 10:26I notices the "OK" button located on the trade indicator on the mobile website has been changed to a "Cancel order" button.
I now consider this issue resolved. It is unfortunate that the forced migration to the new website was done before it was ready.
