Absa branch that doesnt have a cheque book

Went into the Absa Branch in Bryanston today to cash out a 32 day savings account which I gave notice on, 32 days back... Stood in the queue for 45 minutes. Got to the front only to be told that they are not able to pay me because they \don't have a cheque book"for the branch. They can also not transfer the money via EFT for some unexplained reason. Thanks for nothing"""
