ABSA bond termination penalty - daylight *******
I just think its daylight ******* for ABSA to charge early termination fees of R35k for a bond that has been running for 2 years. THere is no extra admin involved to terminate a bond early neither is there less admin or costs to waive the fee with 90 days notice. It is just *******

02 Mar 2026, 15:25ABSA asks me to write a motivation for why my early termination fee should be waived. After writing the letter they simply decline stating this type of thievery is standard industry practice.
