ABSA Bank's Refusal to refund Motor Vehicle Finance Insurance - Did not sign agreement for Volvo S60 with Imperial Dealer Insurance

Good day Mr. Speek

I refer to my email dated 16-4-2021.

Attached to my email was a signed copy of the agreement for the insurance taken by you from Imperial.

Please note the complaints team can unfortunately not assist further on this matter and the matter will remain closed.

Regards

Johan Geyer

I dispute the signature on the Imperial Insurance Agreement. I did not sign that document and therefore I request a refund as indicated in my previous response.

Good day

1. I would like to enquire as to how Imperial Dealer Finance has been able to deduct money from my account without my written consent and/or knowledge for an ongoing period of six years?

2. When I called, two months ago, the debit order was suddenly stopped due to the fact that I had no knowledge of these deductions.

3. I hereby request a full refund of all the monies deducted for approximately + R 28 000.00 (Twenty Eight Thousand Rand) for the duration of the debit orders.

4. Absa Bank has closed this case without refunding the monies due to me, which monies was **********ly deducted from my account without my knowledge as stated in paragraph 1 above

5. How can you assume that I had entered into an agreement with Imperial for insurance that was not needed when my original agreement was with Absa?

I hereby request ABSA to take full responsibility for this matter or else I will have no other option but to escalate it higher up.

Thanking you for your speedy response to my urgent matter in order to resolve this issue amicably.
