ABSA Banking fee

I have an account with ABSA bank, and found out today that everytime I use my debit card at any purchase point system, they charge me a R4.00 fee. So should I go to 5 different shops in one day, ABSA will charge me a fee of R20.00. I know that most banks charge you nothing. I phoned the bank to only get pushed from one person to the next. Wasting my phone credit, time and energy, with the final result being, to go to one of their branches. I now have to get in my car and pay for my fuel, and spend more time and energy. Really!!!!! And when I get there, I must now find money to pay the car guard as well. I would rather go withdraw all the cash I need from an ABSA ATM (when there is one working) than use my card at the purchase points, then it will be my own liability.... but rather I get ****** on the street than get ****** by my bank on a daily basis.
