Absa bank vehicle finance @@@@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband has a vehicle on hp at absa vehicle finance which is paid by debit order every month. After two years we received a summons to our big surprise that we are in arrears. No phonecall no email or any correspondence. We made arrangements as we went through a difficult time with covid like the whole country did. The attorneys and the bank refused our offer but we still paid what we tried to arrange and sent proof of payment to which they did not even had the courtesy of a reply. Now they want us to surrender the vehicle . They won't even try and assist. The staff from absa are rude and not helpful at all. We lost 6 family member due to covid in a period of 3 months and are still trying to recover from all the grief. And not even mentioning friends we also lost. Absa bank is the most unsympathetic people and bank to work with. I will not reccomend anybody to them!!!!!
