Absa Bank - unable to close accounts after emigrating

I'm being held hostage by ABSA bank from overseas. I've emigrated years ago and am unable to close my Absa Premium account. I've lost count of the number of emails, phone calls and false promises from Absa. It's ******** the way Absa takes my money and demands payment for a facility I do not use or want and cannot get rid of.
