Absa bank treatment

I writing this review with a very heavy heart. On the 3rd of August money was mistakenly sent to an FNB account instead of paying for my school fees.

The error was reported to absa thru their Disputes department. In their response I'm being informed that they are unable to reverse it with no reason and I'm being told to find a lawyer to falitate the reversal. I cannot afford any legal fees at this point and time due to economical reasons.

I went to several FBN branches with no luck since they says that they can talk to me directly and they can only engage ABSA instead. My frustration is that i am stuck can't even enroll for classes and Absa is failing me. The transaction was a normal payment of R5000. 00. I don't know who the account belongs to. The money was sent on the 3rd August 2023. I have exhausted all my avanues hence I'm writing to you Hello Peter.
