Absa bank swapping interest rate as they pleaee

I am really disappointed with the service I just received from ABSA vehicle finance staff,I called in to query why my interest rate is changing all the time when I interest rates were recently lowered,the staff member checked my account and before confirming and doing her due diligence she made a false and dishonest statement stating that my interest went up as a result of COVID which makes no sense and is an incorrect statement.The consultant after being caught out and told that she is being dishonest then handed to another staff member who was equally rude and did not want to answer my questions.

So the matter at hand,I financed a vehicle in 2016 at the time I was employed by ABSA,I left ABSA in 2017 March and my interest rate remained 8% as I was told the person who concluded my finance at ABSA made a mistake as she was suppose to provide a normal interest rate then change to the staff interest rate but she in fact made the initial interest rate 8%,bear in mind the month I left ABSA my home loan was changed back to the normal rate and the staff rate fell away.

My vehicle was due to be refinanced in October 2022 I was contacted by ABSA vehicle finance and they stated that they will keep the interest rate the same as before,8% and the interest rate even changed it was lowered due to interest rate cut,the staff member from ABSA was well aware that I was not a staff member as a staff AB number would be required as well as my email address is a Gmail address.Pleaee also bear in mind that such a deduction was previously deducted from my salary.

I recently seen that my interest rate has now balloon to 10.25% bearing in mind interest rates have been unchanged or even cut for instance last week interest rates were cut yet ABSA is increasing my repayments monthly.I think that this is ********* and if this matter is not resolved I will lodge a complaint with the national credit regulator and any other relevant bodies/s.I will also appoint a legal practitioner to resolve this and wish to remind ABSA that I will recover all costs incurred from ABSA as this has prejudiced me and I need to fight against any injustice or ********* practices,such as that of ABSA.
