ABSA BANK SUCKS - FIX YOUR SERVICE AND ATMS

ABSA Bank SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the ATM today to withdraw cash for my colleague using her Capitec Card at Brigh****er Commons ABSA ATM. While I was waiting for the money, the ATM spit the card out and a message "your transaction cannot be processed due to technical error" after that, NO SLIP or MONEY. When i contacted my colleague, she advised that the amount had come off her account even though no money came out the ATM.

I called ABSA call centre and spoke to a Jabulile in the ATM r lost card division and she wasn't helpful at all. She didn't even sound like she wanted to be at work. She proceeded to RUDELY tell me to contact the other bank as the banks need to handle this internally. I then told her that the ATM at Brigh****er Commons always has some kind of issue, if cards aren't being swallowed, then money isn't coming out, to which she rep**** "we've been having issues with our ATMs". I lost it, if you've been having technical dificulties with your ATMs then why not shut them ALL down until they ALL work. You have placed someone in an inconvenient state, she has to now wait for 30 (THIRTY) days for R1000, money that is meant for her transportation. It is stupid to continue having ATMs that don't work still functioning.

Brigh****er Commons ATMs are the worst. Your money will not come out and your card will be awallowed and ABSA does not care. Jabulile showed the type of disgusting selfish people who work behind the scenes in banks. FSPs are supposed to TREAT THE CUSTOMER FAIRLY but ABSA has proven they do not agree with this sentiment.

Fix this problem ABSA and pay back this client, she needs to get to work in order to feed herself and her family. Get rid of your jacked up ATMs at Brigh****er Commons and make sure this does not happen to another client. Close down all your ATMs until they work.

To Jabulile, I hope the same happens to you, maybe then you'll show some compassion.

Dear Customer

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Please can you request the 3rd party just to confirm if the ATM did not correct the transaction, as the Bank did experience some issues with the ATM'S.

If the atm did not correct she needs to log a dispute with her Bank.

Once again we sincerely apologize.

Regards

Claudette
