ABSA Bank South Africa - Why Cant I Get Simple Information

Absa South Africa Who?

So I sent a simple request to Absa South Africa and Absa South Africa Premium Banking as I would like to look at an alternative account options or plans as I don't use all the benefits and would like to review my options.

18 January 2021 So I email them asking can they please advise me on some other account plans they have that would suit my profile and my associated accounts. (I have 3 separate accounts with Absa South Africa I am a Premium Banking customer and have been banking with them for over 15 years)

I get one call from them which I miss, and an email stating that I must call or email the transactional department and they can help me or simply contact us again and my call is closed. I write a lengthy response back about the lack of service and why do I now have to contact another department, can I please just get the information.

4 days later...

"Please note your complaint has been logged with our "customer care action line" and they will assist you further, call is closed and I am told to contact Absa South Africa back again... Still having not gotten the information I have actually asked for.

A simpler response from me a list of the three reference numbers, and simple if you don't contact me I'm closing my accounts and changing banks.

4 days later 01 February 2021 Three seperate emails from the "Customer Care Action Line" and "Complaints Resolution" they have seen my complaints and will process them in 2-3 or 2-4 working days, or please contact Absa South Africa again we apologize for the delay in response.

So here I sit infront of my laptop having had to write another essay about and to Absa South Africa without the information I actually asked for half a month later and having to had to pay for banking fees that I don't actually like paying.

Absa South Africa and Absa South Africa Premium Banking maybe someone could have actually just sent me the information I asked for and we wouldn't have had to have gone down this social media shaming road. I am beyond angry at this point and disappointed with the service I am receiving as a paying customer.
