Absa Bank overcharging client

I was Absa client for more than 5 years on the 29th February 2022 i went to cancel my cheque account. There were debit orders that were not paid because i switched to Capitec bank. The teller told me that if i want to cancel my account i must pay R2 027.19 i told her that i do not have that cash on me at the time. I requested in February 29 that they STOP all debit orders and that i will come back end of March to pay and close the account. On the 26/03/2022 i went to Absa bank again to pay to my surprise the debit orders were not STOPPED and they have gained interest. I was forced to pay R3 321.85 to close the account or else The teller told me that the bank is going to: 1.Blacklist me and take me to Credit Bureau. 2.The big corporate lawyers will open a lawsuit 3.In May 2022 the Interest is going up until i pay the outstanding amount. Absa bank the big corporate ripped me off big time that is the bottom line. The cheque account i was using is not a credit card. I do not have Overdraft. My reasons why i had to switch from Absa bank the numerous banking fees i was paying: 1. Admin fee. 2. Monthly acc fee. 3. Head office fee. 4. I am paying very low bank charges @ Capitec
