ABSA BANK - OPPORTUNISTS

So i fell short of paying my cc due to me loosing job, my debt was sold to a 3rd party and though i made 2 arrangements, defaulting, i eventually managed to pay off the debt, especially since the 3rd party gave a huge discount on the amount owed. I paid it up immediately and received a paid up letter - this was resolved november 2026 - ABSA decided that they're gonna 'try' to collect more money from me on the cc and it's been a back and forth issue with me sending the settlement letter to them where it states the amount has been settled. Let's see what they come back with. For anyone out there willing to read, ensure you get your paid up letter from institutions like ABSA. This is the same bank that 'stole' my house from me as a first time buyer back in the 90's. I'm still upset about that!!
