ABSA BANK & OMBUDSMAN-MY NIGHTMARE

To whom it may concern

Kindly be notified that i paid off my mortgage with ABSA Bank on 17 October 2008 and ABSA never settled the account in time ,continued charging me with interests & stated that I’m still owing them a huge amount of +R11,719.32

In 2012 August i escalated the matter to the Ombudsman for banking services. I was advised to contact ABSA Bank to find out what further steps to take. On 24/01/2014 & ABSA bank consultant Frik du Toit assisted me with writing of :- -Mortgage bond cancellations, -Cancel the HOC policy& -Cancel the Life Policy.

On 26/08/2014 ABSA Bank sent an email advising me that my bond account has been closed & same confirmed in an email, BUT stated that I’m owing them R17,000.00 as up to May 2014 for the Home Insurance.

I went back to my OMBUDSMAN Adjudicator Vaheeni Naidoo complaining about the matter but she failed me and stating that i should pay ABSA Bank,& showed being fedup with me in an email.

In Feb 2022 i went back to ABSA to lodge a complaint but was told the matter is no more in their hands but escalated to the Credit Bureau.

Could you please help me to settle the matter so that i get my monies ABSA bank owes me together with my Title Deed?
