ABSA Bank not willing to help the elderly!!!

URGENT NOTICE TO EXISTING & FUTURE CLIENTS!!

Our father (84 Years Old) is in hospital and is fighting for his life, he must be moved to frail care, after he had major surgery. We needed 3 months bank statements from ABSA they refused...

We had a registered Power of Attorney signed by my father specifically for the day that he could no longer take care of himself and we needed to step in. We had a letter from the doctor stating that he need specialized care immediately even a letter from his pastor...

The statements was needed urgently for the frail care center to get him admitted this was requested on an application form from signed and sworn under oath before the police, ABSA did not even wanted to look at the documents... There answer my father needs to come in and sign the banks “SPECIAL” Power of Attorney, the one signed, registered with government and accepted by Standard Bank was no good enough for ABSA?

How must a person lying in hospital that needs immediate care in a frail care unit come into a branch? Are you ****** insane!!!

So think again before opening a bank account with ABSA!!! If you need it most they do not care...
