Absa Bank Not Able to Assist My GrandMom when She Needed Them The Most

My grandma is bed ridden and can't move. She's been banking with Absa Bank even before Absa Bank was re-branded/majored.

I called *** to see if they can be able to assist with sending someone to change her digital limits since she can't move and digital will be able to assist.

I was then advised to call her branch which is Absa Bank Church Street in Pietermaritzburg. I spoke to Fiona who didn't want to listen to me I then asked to be transferred to service manager her name is Hazel Strydom. She didn't listen to me and called my grandma a stranger which I had to correct her not to call my grandma a stranger. She was very impatient and didn't really care much. Her apology was just a by the way.

In her words she refused to assist my grandma by sending people to her house for power of attorney. She said in her words she's not comfortable with sending her team in a "strangers house" My grandpa passed away and we want to pay for funeral parlour and therefore the family is in desperation.

More 50 years of banking with Absa Bank is just a waste of time.
