Absa bank life policy ***** up

My mom had a life insurance policy with ABSA , which she has been paying R 1333 a month for 25years , only to get R 275 000, what a *******. To make things worse, she recently passed on and we've been trying to deal with grieving and incompetence from ABSA. She had 3 beneficiaries on her policy, however ABSA only paid 2 beneficiaries. I called numerous occasions to find out why they still haven't paid me because we submitted all paperwork in one email and one of the consultants mentioned that they made a mistake with my banking details. Also, I spent 3hours sitting in the bank to find out what other policies my mom had with Absa and the consultant initially gave me an incorrect policy number and amount, I find it very strange that she could mention my brothers name as a beneficiary for R 100 000 but yet when we asked about it, they couldn't recall and they said the policy belonged to someone else.

The assessor for our active life policy was LERATO LETSRITSR who messed up my banking details, if a finance institution gets something as simple as banking details incorrect, this already raises major red flags.

When I told the claims consultant this morning on the 1st 09 2020 that I will go to social media to lay a complaint, she had an arrogant response and clearly said "NO PROBLEM' … if that was my company, I would've done everything in my power to help the customer...

To date, I am still waiting on the payout from my moms life insurance policy and the monies are desperately needed to pay our attorneys, the last thing you want to deal with in a time of grieving, so people, take head, choose wisely when taking out life policies with entities, this might be you or your children one day.
