ABSA Bank - Just another thieving corporate making billions off regular people

ABSA seems to be finding new ways all the time to ******* their clients. Only by going through my statements, did I find that I am now charged R1.00 for every payment notification emailed to me. Then there's the Payshap story, which is about as close as you can get to a ****. The payment type (normal, immediately) now defaults to Payshap. Unless you click on their explanation, a person will not realise that there is a R7.50 charge for the use of this facility. Recently I had a ***** attempt on my credit card - fortunately I keep a limitied amount available, so the transaction was declined. ABSA had the audacity to charge me R10.00 for a declined transation. ATMs are few and far between, now tellers are being removed - anybody who tells me that South Africa is moving to a cashless economy has no clue about developing economies. They should get out of their ivory towers, stop enjoying their outrageously high salaries (R180,000.00 per day for the CEO?) and see how really people live in this country. And now they are hunting for more revenue as the interest rates go down? (IOL.co.za 21 Nov) The large corporates have now squeezed clients to the degree that there is nothing left.
