ABSA bank is a no no ABSAlutely not, not a bank for a struggling economy.

They charge you ridiculous amounts to have and account with them, their bank charges are too high and they will charge you R200 rand when you want to close your account with them and sms you threatening messages if you don’t pay, even their customer service is very poor.I have been banking with them for over 12 years and they declined given ng me a loan, they have captured peoples names on my funeral policy that I don’t know, this is another problem that I have been trying to fix but to no avail, I am thinking of cancelling that policy that I have been paying for years, I am really unhappy with this bank and have paid them the R500 they demanded to have this check account closed , I highly recommend Capitec as a bank for the people.I have since moved all my business to Capitec bank and am happy , very happy with Capitec.
