ABSA bank is a ****

This bank is a **** and the people that work for their ***** department and some of their managers are highly ***********. I wrote a complaint last year November regarding an incident that transpired the 16th of December 2022😀Today is the 9th of January 2024 and we are still here. My account is still blocked 🚫 and I still haven’t been refunded my money that was ****** from my account. This matter has been going on and on and still no resolution. Apparently the investigation was conducted and all they could say was that I was negligent and they are not responsible for my loss meanwhile other 2 banks have refunded me what was in my account prior to the incident. Absa is sickening guys please don’t open account with then coz they will not protect you at all. Today I have debts because of what happened 2022. I went into the branch to go close both my accounts and they told me that they can’t become of the ongoing investigation. The funny part about all of this is that the lady by the name of Karen Jonker who happen to be their Regulator's Dispute Adjudicator is now not responding to my emails but she promised to come back to me on the 9th of December 2023. I sent her more than 4 email to follow up and none was responded to. A whole joke 😀 so yesterday I sent her another email and finally she responded by saying that she’s waiting for feedback now from the Ombudsman 😅 but December she said she’s waiting for feedback from the person who was assessing my case. Is that even possible? She never responded to emails this woman and yet she’s in a big position. I am tired with Absa stories and I am going to fight them until they pay back my money. They suppose to solve this and close my account once and for all. I won’t let this slide. Their investigation is not done properly and they are most welcome to redo it again I don’t care. Just know that if you get any response from Karen from Absa you can forget about positive feedback she will respond to your emails and she will ignore all your communication.
