ABSA bank incompetence.
I am absolutely outraged and frustrated with ABSA will and estate department. My father passed away 4 and a half years ago. His estate was registered 4 years and a half ago. Not once did Absa notify us that there was a will for him. Now 4 years and a half later when the process is about to be finalised, ABSA steps in and says.. yeah we have a will. Last year the attorneys notified ABSA that the estate will remain by them due to lack of financial funds and we were informed that Absa would renounce the will. I have sent letters out I have sent EMAILS out to Calvin Brown. Nothing. Not a phone call not a message. When u phone the number to speak to him u hold on for 15 minutes plus and if u lucky to speak to someone he is not available? This whole process is being held up cause of Absa and its incompetence. It is now May 2026 still not a word? Unacceptable. You are grieving the loss of a loved one and its shocking that what my father left behind for my mom, she is unable to benefit from it. My mom is becoming ill by the day..... just SHOCKING that u can treat people like this.
