Absa Bank holding back my savings.
My late wife and I were saving for a holiday but in 2020my wife passed away so I started with lawyers to wind up her estate the lawyers opened up an account for our saving to be put in so that I can earn interest on the savings whilst waiting for the high court, with all the papers in place we requested the money to be transferred from Absa Bank, Absa replyed saying that they are still busy with the request and so its been going on month after month, is Absa so unprofessional or is this the way Absa enriches themselves by holding back our saving from a deceased estate? I'm seventy years old how long must one wait or is this the way Absa really is?
