Absa bank fees not for early pensioners

Me and my husband is banking at Absa for years we went on early pension. We sold ouer car. The guy that bought the car payed cash. We went to pay in the money into an account. They official did not tell us that the cost of paying in the money will be so much R1800. This is a hell of a lot of money just for paying it is really. I am really not happy with them. Rather keep your money under your mattress like years back
